Cherry has a warmth that deepens with time. Soft reds and gentle golds shift toward rich amber as the board ages, creating a story in color with every slice and season. With its fine grain and smooth finish, cherry is equal parts beauty and function — a quiet classic in any kitchen.
Edge grain boards offer durability and a stable surface for everyday slicing, chopping, and feasting — all while showcasing the long, clean lines of the wood’s native story.
Each board is:
- Built with care
- Finished smooth and sealed with food safe (USP Grade) Mineral Oil and Walrus Oil Brand Cutting Board Oil
-
Crafted to last — heirloom-quality for kitchens that mean it

🧼 Board Care & Feeding
Your board will serve for many years with a bit of love and care. After each use, hand wash with warm water and mild soap — never soak, submerge, or put it in the dishwasher. Dry it upright on edge and oil it regularly with food-safe mineral oil or board conditioner (I recommend Walrus Oil Brand Cutting Board Oil) to keep it from drying out or cracking. Store upright if possible, and in a dry, climate controlled location. With time and care, it will carry the marks of many good meals and moments.

We purchased our cherry cutting board at a local farmer's market and it's a staple in our kitchen that never leaves our counter top! Our previous go-to board was an inexpensive bamboo board from Target that not only dulled our knives but was immdiately dented and damaged from use. Also, if we ever cut onion or garlic on it, it was impossible to get the smell out because the board was so pourous.
After weeks of use, this board barely has a scratch on it. It's absurdly durable, and the natural grain of the wood is so beautiful that we also love to use it for chacuterie displays and serving. It doesn't seem to dull our knives like our other board did as well. We've been wanting a nice cutting board for a while, and I'm so glad we finally got one! It will be an heirloom item for sure.
I also loved that it came with such thoughtful care instructions and that the owners are avaliable for follow up questions and help. They very much care about their craft and it shows!
