Sapele is a beautiful hardwood that is native to tropical Africa. In fact, it's name comes from the Nigerian city of Sapele, one place where the tree can be found. It can have an almost lustrous, iridescent chatoyance that is mesmerizing. It has a Janka rating of 1360Lbf, making it rather hard and durable.

Bookmarks are sized between approximately 5.5-6.5" long, 1.3-1.8" wide, and roughly .1" thick. However, these are just approximations, and no guarantees are made as to the delivered dimension.
