Collection: Edge Grain Serving Boards

Built for gathering, passing, and setting a beautiful table, these handmade edge-grain serving boards bring warmth and natural character to everyday meals and special occasions alike. Each board is crafted from carefully selected hardwood and made to order in your chosen dimensions and thickness.

Edge-grain construction creates long, flowing grain lines that showcase the character of the wood while providing a sturdy surface for serving and slicing bread, fruit, pastries, charcuterie, and much more. They are durable enough for slicing and meal preparation, while also designed to present food beautifully and live comfortably at the center of the table. Useful for tasks when you don't want to take out your larger board!

Every board is meticulously sanded, soaked in food-grade USP/NF mineral oil, and hand-finished with Walrus Oil Cutting Board Oil. Multiple sizes and thicknesses are available, with custom dimensions, engraving, handles, and other details offered through custom order.

Choose Your Wood

Black Walnut — Deep and dramatic
Rich chocolate tones, paler toned sapwood, and flowing grain give walnut a bold, grounded presence that frames cheeses, breads, and fruit beautifully.

Cherry — Warm and inviting
Cherry begins with rosy and golden tones, then deepens into a rich reddish amber over time. It brings an especially welcoming, lived-in warmth to the table.

Hard Maple — Clean and timeless
Pale golden color and subtle grain create an elegant backdrop that allows the food to take center stage.

Sapele — Expressive and distinctive
Reddish-brown color and ribbon-like grain give sapele a refined, luxurious quality with striking visual movement across the board.

Still not sure which wood feels right? Choose the one you would be most excited to see each day. Each species is selected for durability, beauty, and suitability for daily use, so the final decision can be wonderfully personal!
